Psalm 33:13-22

From heaven the Lord looks down
    and sees all mankind;
from his dwelling place he watches
    all who live on earth—
 he who forms the hearts of all,
    who considers everything they do.

 No king is saved by the size of his army;
    no warrior escapes by his great strength.
A horse is a vain hope for deliverance;
    despite all its great strength it cannot save.
But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
    on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,
to deliver them from death
    and keep them alive in famine.

 We wait in hope for the Lord;
    he is our help and our shield.
In him our hearts rejoice,
    for we trust in his holy name.
 May your unfailing love be with us, Lord,
    even as we put our hope in you.

10am Outdoor Services

on Sunday, 7/12:

On Sunday, July 12, we will once again be live streaming our church service, but with a couple of changes:

  • The outdoor service will begin at 9:00 am, and will last less than 1 hour. The second service will be indoors, starting at 10:00 am.

  • We will be recording the live service outside, on the west side of the church in the upper parking lot, under the shade tree with seating on the parking lot. We are holding this service outside as research shows the risk of infection is much less outside than if it were held indoors.

  • Please use social distancing by seating family groups at least 6 feet apart in both outside and inside services.

  • As per both State of Kansas and Wyandotte County health orders, masks are required inside the building, and outside if social distancing is not possible.

  • Hand sanitizer, face masks, gloves and sanitizing wipes will be available at both services.

  • An offering jar will also be on the table for both services.

  • Folding chairs will be available outside, or if you prefer you may bring your own chair. You can also bring a blanket to sit on the grass outside.

  • During the outdoor service, the basement doors will be unlocked so restrooms will be available.

  • Bring your own coffee! Coffee will not be served inside. For those with kiddos, bring toys, coloring materials, whatever you need!

We realize that many of you are not ready to come out in person to services yet, so we will continue to live stream the 9:00 am service.

Please keep in mind that the mask requirement, social distancing, etc are stipulated by State & County requirements in an effort to slow the spread of the virus. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact State &/or County governments.

And remember, God's Church is not a building, inside or outside, it is US!

Whether online, on the church property, or in spirit, we hope to be together on Sunday!
